It's hard to define pop culture, cause honestly I'm not 100% sure what it is. But to me, pop culture is the mainstream media. And now it's a part of us, I for one can't go a day without being on the computer haha!
The side of the girl's face represents the world, she is a part of it <3 ( just in case anyone was confused). I defined applause as people giving you a thumbs up or just following you, now a days people advertise as much as they can to gain virtual admirers.
